Privacy policy
This explains what Nagavishnu collects, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated 7 November 2026
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email and a protected (hashed) version of your password.
- Learning data: your answers, scores, time spent, hints used, skill estimates and mistake notebook.
- Payment records: what you bought, the amount, the date and Razorpay's order and payment IDs. Razorpay handles your card, UPI or bank details, and we never see them.
- Course platform: if you use our Moodle courses, your account link and course activity.
- Technical logs: our servers may record details such as IP addresses and pages requested, to keep the service running and secure.
Why we use it
- To run your account and give you your tests, results and progress.
- To adapt practice to you, such as choosing questions and reducing hints as you improve.
- To take payments, issue receipts, handle refunds and meet legal and tax duties.
- To answer you, fix problems and prevent misuse.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't show advertising.
Who we share it with
- Razorpay, to process your payment. Your name and email are passed to its checkout.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the service's data.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores small preferences, such as whether you've hidden the exam timer. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and learning data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete or anonymise this data, except what we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or name someone to act for you. Email admin@examsense.in and we'll respond. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide your account.
If you're not satisfied, contact our Grievance Officer, Nagavishnu, at the same address. You may also be able to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Students under 18
Many of our students are under 18. If you are, a parent or guardian must agree to you using ExamSense and must make or approve any payment. We don't target advertising at children or track their behaviour for advertising.
Security and changes
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No service can promise perfect security. If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date above.
